TIDIP supports the low-carbon transformation of industry while promoting environmental and social sustainability.
Compliance with Regulations and Standards
Projects supported under TIDIP are assessed in line with Türkiye’s 2053 net-zero emissions target and relevant national policies and strategies. The Platform also supports industry’s alignment with the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and relevant international trade and sustainability requirements.
Just Transition
The impacts of the transition in carbon-intensive sectors on workers and local communities are taken into account. Investment processes promote reskilling, regional development and transparent dialogue with relevant stakeholders.
Human Rights and Labour Standards
TIDIP activities take into account relevant International Labour Organization (ILO) standards and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The prevention of forced labour, child labour and discrimination, as well as the promotion of occupational health and safety and gender equality, are core principles.
Transparency, Feedback and Grievance Mechanism
Feedback, concerns and grievances related to TIDIP activities or projects supported under the Platform may be submitted through the channels provided on the Contact page. Submissions are recorded and reviewed by the relevant units, with follow-up or corrective action taken where necessary. The mechanism is designed to ensure that feedback and grievances are addressed in a transparent, timely and consistent manner, while contributing to continuous improvement.
