The 31st Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP31) will be held in Antalya, Türkiye, from 9–20 November 2026, hosted by Türkiye. The Türkiye Industrial Decarbonisation Investment Platform (TIDIP) Official Launch Event and Partnership Ceremony will take place on November 12, 2026, at COP31, marking an important milestone in the Platform’s development and its engagement with the international climate and finance community.
Official International Launch of TIDIP
The TIDIP Official Launch Event and Partnership Ceremony, will bring together representatives of the Government of Türkiye, international financial institutions and development partners around a shared objective: advancing a competitive and low-carbon industrial transformation in Türkiye.
The event will highlight TIDIP’s role in bringing together policy, finance and industry to facilitate industrial decarbonisation investments. It will also provide an opportunity for TIDIP’s founding partners to reaffirm their commitment to the Platform and for new international partners to formally join the partnership.
As part of the event, new partners are expected to accede to the Joint Declaration on TIDIP, further expanding the international coalition supporting Türkiye’s industrial decarbonisation journey.
From Partnership to Implementation
Following the official launch, a TIDIP dedicated side event on 13 November 2026 will also take place, bringing the discussion from partnership and ambition towards implementation.
Through a high-level panel discussion, representatives from government, international financial institutions, industry and the TIDIP Secretariat will exchange perspectives on how stronger cooperation can help unlock investment opportunities, support industrial competitiveness and accelerate the transition towards low-carbon production.
Together, the events at COP31 will showcase TIDIP’s evolving role as a country-led platform connecting industrial policy, investment, finance and international cooperation, while strengthening partnerships for the next phase of Türkiye’s industrial decarbonisation.
